Soccer Endurance Engine

Beep Test App

Set up the test, run live beeps, record your score, and compare your endurance engine to elite academy reference ranges.

Step 1

Set Up The Test

Two lines. Twenty meters. One audio rhythm. Keep the setup simple and exact.
20 Meter Shuttle
LINE A
LINE B
20 METERS

Place two cones or lines exactly 20 meters apart. The player runs from one line to the other and must arrive before each beep.

How The Test Works
1Start on the first beep.
2Reach the opposite line before the next beep.
3Turn and repeat every shuttle.
4The beeps get faster as levels increase.
5Your score is the last shuttle fully completed.

The app below will create the beeps and track level, shuttle, speed, and distance live.

Step 2

Run The Beep Test

Press start. Follow the beeps. Reach each line before the next sound.

What It Means

The beep test is useful, but it does not measure complete soccer fitness.
The Truth

The beep test measures your endurance engine. It does not measure acceleration, repeat sprint ability, change of direction, or power.

What It Misses
SpeedFirst-step acceleration
RSARepeat sprint ability
CODChange of direction
PowerExplosiveness
